Liz Marcela Gathercoal

Liz Marcela joined DZA in May 2023. After serving as the executive director of Flying Doctors of America for 17 years, Liz Marcela decided to change careers and went back to school to earn degrees in economics, finance, and accounting.

Liz Marcela likes helping clients with the challenges of setting financial goals, forecasts and projections, resource allocation and contingency planning. She believes budgeting and planning are essential because they provide a roadmap for financial success and facilitate informed decision-making. It involves crafting comprehensive financial plans aligned with the company’s goals, objectives, and available resources.

Outside of the office, Liz Marcela likes scuba diving, painting, and hiking. She is also a member of the Coeur d’ Alene Book Club.
