Jeremy Valdez, CPA

Jeremy Valdez joined DZA in September 2016 after graduating from Eastern Washington University. Public accounting is a second career for Jeremy, having served as an elementary school teacher for 10 years.

Jeremy specializes in working with healthcare organizations and not-for-profit organizations. One of the most common challenges he encounters is helping clients figure out the proper accounting for out-of-the-ordinary or unusual transactions. It is important to record such transactions appropriately so that monthly and annual financial statements report correct amounts and the treatment of the transactions going forward are appropriately accounted for.
