Cory Burnett, CPA

Cory Burnett originally joined DZA in February 2014, bringing with him four years of experience working in the finance department of a community health center. He remained with the firm for five years. 

While away from DZA, Cory gained experience as a CFO of a critical access hospital and critical access hospital consultant. Realizing that public accounting and DZA was really where he wanted to be, Cory rejoined DZA in 2021.

Cory frequently helps clients fill the gaps in their finance teams, whether it is providing interim CFO services, accounting services, or advisory services. He understands the importance of being flexible and recognizing the specific needs of each client.

Cory is an avid golfer. He considers Kapalua Golf’s The Plantation Course in Maui the best course he has ever played. His community activities include Spokane Riverkeeper, Habitat for Humanity, and Second Harvest.
